    What a nice lake Ashley Lake is. The Scull Shoals Trail offers hiking at its best; you can stay the night at Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area. A large amount of rainfall falls at Ashley Lake; through March this area sees the most rain while October is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Falling Camp Trail, also Ashley Lake Dam is worth checking out since you're here.
Through the summer months at Ashley Lake highs
 
   are regularly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Ashley Lake. This location is unbeatable, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the vicinity of Ashley Lake. Get drenched paddling on Rose Creek; if you need a place to stay Jameson Inn Greensboro is a glorious choice. Here at Ashley Lake there are plenty of folks from Athens-Clarke  
               County, and glide down the rapids of Apalachee River in a kayak.
Dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn Greensboro, and Ashley Lake is right by the Mounds Trail. There's so much to do here at Ashley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North Shore Resort is a nice place for that.
