Some close by water includes Mountain Creek; if you came for an overnight stay Hard Labor Creek State Park is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rainfall makes Arnold Lake a pretty wet location; the month with most of the rain is March while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.       If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Arnold Lake. For you golfers we recommend close by Woodlake Golf Club, and obviously, this is a glorious area for folks who like lakes, Whitley Lake is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Simmeron Park since you're here at Arnold Lake, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn. You're almost certainly interested in lakes, McGarity Lake is one of those                  nearby, and if you need a spot to stay Country Hearth Inn Monroe is a perfect choice. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Arnold Lake with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Arnold Lake temperatures drop to the 30's.
