The great people of LaGrange like to hang out nearby. Armory Creek Reservoir gets a good deal of water; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Snake River; dry warm beds await you at Howard       Johnson Inn Newnan GA. Camping at Armory Creek Reservoir is brilliant fun, Flat Rock Campground is a brilliant local campground; after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - NEWNAN is a wonderful location to spend a night or two.
