During the winter highs are regularly in the 50's with temperatures at Anthony Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Anthony Lake you obtain some good water scenery at Flat Rock Lake Dam, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Columbus. The high level of rainfall makes Anthony Lake a reasonably wet place; during July this area sees                  the most rain; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Columbus here at Anthony Lake, and if you've had enough of Anthony Lake, Flat Rock Lake is nearby. Nearby lakes? Sure, Carver Park Lake is near Anthony Lake, and playing golf is lots of fun at Bull Creek Golf Course.
