A great deal of rain falls at Anderson Lake; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. A lake close by is Tillman Lake; if you need a location to stay Microtel Inn & Suites Jasper is a perfect choice. A good place near Anderson Lake is Wolf Hollow, and there are some good whitewater spots on Talking Rock Creek. All through the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Anderson Lake.
