Anderson Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll need more than a day to look       at everything Anderson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lumpkin Campground; lakes are such serene sites, why not go to Anderson Lake Number One. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Anderson Lake you can take a hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Anderson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Valley Resort is a brilliant site for that. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Anderson                  Lake reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Anderson Lake. Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a very wonderful place to stop at in the neighborhood of Anderson Lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Country Land Golf Course is always a pleasure. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do close to Anderson Lake. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Settingdown Creek, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Dawsonville is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
