Anderson Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Settingdown Creek, and Lumpkin Campground is a great campground here. Anderson Lake is a wet location that gets a large amount of precipitation; during the month of March you get the most rain around here; October is the month with the least moisture. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Etowah River, and dry warm beds await you at Dawsonville Super 8
