All the water falling down from the sky makes Anderson Lake a wet site; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Red Oak Golf Club; not far from Anderson Lake you'll stumble on Daniels Pond which is a beautiful lake. If you need a location to stay       Econo Lodge At Ft. Benning is a perfect choice, and obviously Hollis Branch flows through this region. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Anderson Lake is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Camp Vista Campground is a splendid site to camp nearby, and Anderson Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Summertime highs at Anderson Lake commonly tend to be in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. High temperatures                  all through the winter are normally in the 50's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Anderson Lake temperatures drop to the 30's.
