Steed Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Steed Lake Dam is a striking place, without doubt worth a visit. There are glorious locations to look at along the Ocmulgee River Trail, and if you came to camp Forsyth Koa Kampground is a perfect location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Allisons Lake without first going for a hike along the Kinnard Horse Trail; a delightful close by hotel is Homewood Suites by Hilton MaconNorth. This

| | is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Going for a hike on the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail is always a tremendous adventure; a lake close by is Piedmont Wildlife Lake. There's so much to do here at Allisons Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park is a nice location for that, and there's whitewater on Big Sandy Creek for all you thrill seekers. 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's, and overnight lows during the winter for Allisons Lake tend to be in the 30's. People from Macon love to come to
Allisons Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Gray is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Allisons Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months
is October. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Ocmulgee National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
