Not far from Allens Lake, you'll find Centralia Lake which is a beautiful lake, and Allens Lake is a place with many visitors from LaGrange. Cedar Creek flows through this region, and Flat Rock Campground is a pleasant local campground. Allens Lake is a pretty wet place generally with much precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain while September is the month with the       least amount of precipitation. All through the warmest time of the year at Allens Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's; nighttime lows at Allens Lake during the winter frequently fall into the 20's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Allens Lake has to offer.
