Adams Pond frequently gets a large amount of rain; all through March this area sees the most rain while October is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.                  There's whitewater on Mud Creek for all you thrill seekers, and the Whitly Gap Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Thin River Orchard Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Chattahoochee River. A fine site to camp here at Adams Pond is Mountain Creek Grove Nudist, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
