Sure, Lake Katchanapee is around here; Mulberry Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. A pleasant close by hotel is WYNDHAM GARDEN COLUMBUS; if you're here you can play some golf at Woodland Hills Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites COLUMBUS AT NORTHLAKE is a great spot to get some rest; Adams Dam is a wonderful place. Having a delightful time at Adams Lake is uncomplicated. If you don't mind getting       drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattahoochee River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Adams Lake has to offer, you can camp at Valley Inn Resort. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Ginns Lake. At Adams Lake during the summer highs are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Adams                  Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Stay the night at Lake Pines Camp Ground, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Columbus for sure.
