A visit to Lake Acworth is always a good idea. At Lake Acworth through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Acworth. Old Hi-way 41 Campground Number 3 is a glorious local campground; if you come at the right time of year, Sope Creek offers some brilliant whitewater.
