A delightful place for whitewater paddling close to Abernathy Lake is Towaliga River; a lake nearby is Millwood Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Forsyth is a fine choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Forsyth Koa Kampground is a delightful place to camp. There's good hiking along the Ocmulgee River Trail, and you're sure to stumble upon some wonderful people from Macon here. Summertime highs at Abernathy Lake

only site close by, Evans Lake is a close by lake. Be careful coming to Abernathy Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Abernathy Lake is in the vicinity of Abernathy Dam which is a stunning spot positively worth a visit,
and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Forsyth Golf Club. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Abernathy Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Forsyth, and Providence
Hill can be made out from Abernathy Lake. A quick trip to Rock Branch in the vicinity of Abernathy Lake is a great idea, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Kinnard Horse Trail.
