Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Coulter Basin, and you can stay the night at Tall Oak's Campground RV Park. Swamps are interesting locations and East River near The X is no exception. A large amount of precipitation falls at The X; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; October on the other hand is the       driest. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Some of the water nearby flows, like Bannahassee River, and not far from The X you'll hit upon The Wye which is a gorgeous lake. After a long day outdoors Value Place Penascola is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent here. This lake is so wonderful.
