Camping is available at Little Manatee River State Park, and a trip to Apollo Beach is always a magnificent idea. Renaissance Golf Club is a tremendous golf course nearby; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Sun City Center is a tremendous place to spend a night or two.       A nice site to camp here at Lake Wimauma is Lil Bullfrog Campground, and Days Inn Of Sun City Center is a glorious place to get some rest. At Lake Wimauma during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 70's. For the duration of the winter the highs are frequently in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 50's to Lake Wimauma.
