A large amount of rain falls at Lake Wilson; August is the month that gets the most rain while October is mostly the driest month. A glorious location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Lake Wilson is Suwannee River, and Inn and Out RV Park is a delightful local campground. All through the summer months at Lake Wilson temperatures are generally in the 90's. All through the       dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 60's with temperatures at Lake Wilson dipping down into the 40's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. String of Ponds is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and golf can be played at Quail Heights Country Club. Don't leave Lake Wilson without first going for a hike along the Osceola Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites                  Lake City. If you need a place to stay Lake City Travelodge is a good choice. Having a brilliant time at Lake Wilson is painless. You can run the rapids of Falling Creek near Lake Wilson, and this is a popular location for folks from Lake City.
