All through the summertime highs here at White Sands Lake reach the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights       at White Sands Lake are in the 40's. Why not camp at Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park since you're here at White Sands Lake, and you're sure to run into some nice people from Palatka here. White Sands Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; during August this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
