If you come at the right time of year, Falling Creek offers some magnificent whitewater; Suwannee River State Park is a brilliant campground nearby. White Lake is a wet       site that gets lots of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is October. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Nearby lakes? Sure, Pretty Pond is in close proximity to White Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably hooked on lakes, Dorman Pond is one of those close by, and Econo Lodge Live Oak is a nice site to get some rest. High temperatures at White Lake during                  the warm days of summer are in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 70's.
