A wonderful close by hotel is Super 8 Winter Haven, and not far from Lake Whistler you'll come across Lake Arietta which is a delightful lake. During the warmest time of the year at Lake Whistler highs are ordinarily in the 90's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 70's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 70's,       and night lows in the 50's for Lake Whistler. There are other sites here than Lake Whistler, for example Lake Myrtle, and folks from Lakeland-Winter Haven love to come here. A good deal of rain falls at Lake Whistler; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; April is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Big Tree RV Park is a pleasant local campground; for you golfers we recommend close by The Hamptons Golf Club.
