Watertown Lake truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Suwannee River. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Falling Creek offers some tremendous whitewater; if you need a location to stay Columbia Motel is a splendid choice. Dry warm beds await you at Hillcrest; playing       golf is lots of fun at Quail Heights Country Club. There's so much to do here at Watertown Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake City Koa Kampground is a perfect site for that, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Osceola Trail. Watertown Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Inn and Out RV Camp Park is a fine local campground, and this is a popular location for folks from Lake City. Watertown Lake is a reasonably wet place                  generally with a lot of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is October. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Watertown Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 70's.
