Water Hole is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Ocean Pond Campground is a tremendous local campground; a splendid nearby hotel is Days Inn - I-10 Lake City. While you're here at Water Hole you will meet lots of folks from nearby Lake City, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Brushy Branch is right close by. If you need a spot to stay Days Inn Lake City is a good choice; there's whitewater on Falling       Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. All through the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Water Hole, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, generally in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 60's while Water Hole night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. All the water falling down from the sky makes Water Hole a wet place;                  most of the rain falls through August, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful.
