A lake nearby is Union Lake, and a pleasant close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express CHIEFLAND. At Ward Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 60's with winter lows in       the 30's overnight here at Ward Lake. The high level of rain makes Ward Lake a pretty wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Cove Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.
