    What a nice lake Trout Pond is. Trout Pond gets a great deal of water; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is October. Take a look at nearby Mud Swamp; Prairie Lake is a perfect lake close by. Trout Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, O'Leno State Park is a fine local campground. Lakes? Sure, Sunshine Lake is in the neighborhood.
Trout Pond is not far at all from Gainesville, and if you need a place to
 
   stay Gainesville Knights Inn is a great choice. At Trout Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 70's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Trout Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Little Monteocha Creek, and Sleep Inn & Suites Waldo is a delightful place to get some rest.
