This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Blue Heron Beach Resort is a good place to spend a night or two; the good folks of Orlando like to hang out nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Trout Lake has to offer,       you can camp at Orlando SE/Lake Whippoorwill KOA; you're probably addicted to lakes, Coon Lake is one of those close by. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Kissimmee is a fine choice. Summer at Trout Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. All through the winter highs are in the 70's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Trout Lake plunge into the 40's.
