All through the summer months, highs generally are in the 90's at Tillmans Pond. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 70's. Throughout the winter highs are typically in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Tillmans Pond temperatures descend to the 40's. There's so much to do here at Tillmans Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sportman's Cove is a glorious       place for that, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Gainesville. Lots of rain falls at Tillmans Pond; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge University is a splendid choice. If you came to camp Ranch Motel and Camping Park is a great location to do that, and golf can be played at Meadowbrook Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful.
