Thompson Pond is a relatively wet place frequently with lots of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Thompson Pond. Have a great hiking adventure along the Prairie Trail. During the warm days of summer highs here at Thompson Pond get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures                  plunge down into the 70's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 60's with temperatures at Thompson Pond dipping down into the 40's throughout winter nights.
