And that's not all you can do here at Lake Surprise. Kings Kamp Marina is a good campground nearby, and the vistas at Everglades National Park will blow your mind. Lake Surprise gets a great deal of water; June is the month that gets the most rain, and December is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Gilbert's Resort and Marina, and Lake Simmons is a nearby lake that you could stop at. After a long       day outdoors The Residence Club at Fishermans Cove is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and naturally North Sound Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth checking out. Don't miss out on a splendid swamp; Jewfish Creek is right here at Lake Surprise, and a lake close by is Crocodile Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Rock Harbor Marina is a delightful place to camp, and a journey to close by Garden Cove                  is very relaxing. High temperatures at Lake Surprise during the summertime are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's.
