Panama City-Days Inn 23Rd Street is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and Sunset Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Paradise Lakes Resort is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Deer Haven Park is always a nice experience. Lakes? Sure, Black Pond is close by. A wonderful nearby hotel is Wingate by Wyndham Lynn Haven FL, and there are other places here than Sunset Lake,       for example White Western Lake. Sunset Lake is not far at all from Panama City-Lynn Haven. The high level of rainfall makes Sunset Lake a quite wet site; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. During the summer months here at Sunset Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's.
