This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Lake City Travelodge, and String of Ponds is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Inn and Out RV Park is a splendid local campground. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Suites Lake City is a glorious choice; if you're dropping by from Lake City, you won't be the only one. During the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 90's at String of Ponds,       and during the night it cools down to the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights at String of Ponds are in the 40's. String of Ponds is right by the Osceola Trail. So many amusing things to do here at String of Ponds, too pleasant to be true. A great place to camp here at String of Ponds is Lee's Country Campground, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Casterline Lake since you're here; it's not far                  at all. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Falling Creek, and Quail Heights Country Club is a golf course nearby. String of Ponds frequently gets a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls through August, and October on the other hand is the driest.
