Still Pond is a site with many visitors from Ocala, and golf can be played at Gator Landing Golf Club & Camp Ground. If you need a spot to stay Micanopy Knights Inn is a great choice, and camping at Still Pond is nice fun, Ranch Motel and Camping Park is a nice local campground. All the water falling down from the sky makes Still Pond a wet site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the       rain; October is when it's the driest. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Take a look at close by Lochloosa Slough, and a lake nearby is Boggy Pond. Summertime highs at Still Pond frequently tend to be in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 60's while Still Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 40's.
