Beautiful Stewart Lake has much to offer visitors. Stewart Lake is a quite wet place ordinarily with a lot of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Wyndham Majestic Sun is a good choice, and there are other sites here than Stewart Lake, for example Morrison Lake. You're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Fort
Walton Beach-Crestview-Destin here, and after a long day outdoors Ariel Dunes by ResortQuest is a fine place to spend a night or two.
For the period of the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 90's at Stewart Lake; the night is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 70's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Stewart Lake are in the 30's. Geronimo RV Resort is a magnificent campground nearby, and

Four Prong Lake is a splendid lake close by. Stay the night at Destin RV Beach Resort; enjoy a round of golf at Seascape Resort Golf Club.
Having a splendid time at Stewart Lake is trouble-free.

Anderson Pond

This is one of the Eglin ponds open to public by permit. There are several primitive campsites with picnic tables, a pavillion, and nature trails....even a little fishing pier.
The dirt road is passable for a small RV, but leveling is difficult. Contact Jackson Goard at Eglin for permit. Pass is $6 a year, and to camp is $5 for 5 days. Blue Gills and Bass are in the pond, as well as (I'd bet) an aligator or two....
