This lake is so wonderful. Eagle Nest Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit; camping at Astor Landing Campground and Marina is always a great experience. Stagger Mud Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is November. Dexter Point is close to Stagger Mud Lake and is a good       place to stop at; if you came to camp Powell's Campgrounds is a wonderful site to do that. For the period of the summertime months at Stagger Mud Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 70's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 60's, and nighttime lows at Stagger Mud Lake during the wintertime mostly fall into the 40's.
