Don't forget to take a delightful little journey to Deserter Creek, and there are plenty of people from Fort Walton Beach-Crestview-Destin here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Hampton Inn Niceville-Bluewater Bay is a brilliant choice; Speck Pond is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Passport America is a fine place to camp nearby. Best Western Crestview Inn is a fine place to get some rest,       and a picturesque lake like Turner Ponds is a delightful location to stop by. Holiday Lakes Travel Park is a good local campground. Speck Pond generally gets a great deal of precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain while April is usually the driest month. All through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Speck Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's.
