Southwater is a quite wet place mostly with a great deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene sites, why not go to Weeks Lakes in close proximity to Southwater; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Lostmans Trail. You imagine       that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you need a spot to stay Port of the Islands Resort and Marina is a tremendous choice. You'll hit upon a pretty lake called Big Boy Lake near Southwater; swamps can be such exciting spots, stop at Alligator Creek while you're here at Southwater. There's so much to do here at Southwater that you need to camp here for a while, Glades Haven is a splendid site for that, and since you're here you can take a hike along the                  Bluebird Trail. Stay the night at Big Cypress Campgrounds, and close by you stumble on Cannon Bay. During the summer at Southwater highs are usually in the 90's while night lows are generally in the 70's.
