Everybody loves Eustis Meadows, and going for a hike on the Baptist Lake Trasil is always a great adventure. Camping at Lakeside RV is always a great experience, and a nice close by hotel is Days Inn & Suites Tavares - Mount Dora. The high level of rain makes Lake Smith a pretty wet place; most of the rain falls during July while November is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.       Camping is available at Southern Palms RV Resort, and there are perfect spots to discover along the Flatwoods Trail. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Lake Smith get into the 90's with night lows in the 70's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 60's with temperatures at Lake Smith dipping down into the 40's through winter nights. Go for a hike on the Prairie Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining                  stuff the area next to Lake Smith has to offer.
