At Sister Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's; the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, mostly in the 70's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 70's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Sister Pond temperatures plunge to the 50's. A round of golf at nearby Wildflower Country Club is a tremendous way to kill some time, and a pleasant       site to camp here at Sister Pond is Harbor Lakes Park Model and RV. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Best Western Waterfront; Sister Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Cayo Costa State Park is a splendid local campground. Sister Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is April. Sister Pond is not far at all from Punta Gorda, and don't forget to                  stop at Halfway Point if you're here. Four Points by Sheraton Punta Gorda Harborside - Opening May 21, 2009 is a great site to get some rest, and why not have a look at nearby Sister Pond Creek since you're here at Sister Pond.
