This lake is so wonderful. Oaks Campground is a pleasant campground nearby; people from The Villages love to come here. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Simmons Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 60's while

Simmons Pond is a reasonably wet place frequently with a good deal of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; October is when it's the driest. Stay the night at Oaks RV Resort, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not take a look at King Pond. If you need a site to stay Brooksville Days Inn is a great choice.

Our climate can be quite dry from October thru May. June and July is when we get the most rain. Through the lazy days of summer our temperatures mostly get into the 90's, with nighttime temps sliding into the 70's. High's in the winter ordinarily stay in the 60-70 degree range with nighttime lows in the 45-60 range.
