Silver Pond gets much water; the month with most of the rain is August while April is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Silver Pond, for example Davis Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Lake View Motel. If you came to camp Cresent City Campground is a wonderful       location to do that, and you can go for a hike on the Ocala National Recreation Trail. There's so much to do here at Silver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Crescent City Campground is a tremendous place for that. Summertime at Silver Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, mostly in the 70's.
