Silver Lake is a glorious site to camp, Cotton Landing Campground is a glorious site, and going for a hike on the Trail of the Lakes is always a good adventure. During the months of summer at Silver Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 70's. Through the winter highs are in the 60's while Silver Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 40's. You're       in all probability hooked on lakes, Greenback Lake is one of those close by; some nearby water includes Alligator Creek. WHite Oak Landing Campground is a splendid campground here, and dry warm beds await you at Magnolia Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Louisa Bend is close to Silver Lake, and swamps like Chipola Cutoff next to Silver Lake make for good sites to stop at. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy                  all the enjoyable things at Silver Lake. If you need a place to stay Airport Motel is a tremendous choice.
