However, there is a nice clean little swimming hole with a sandy beach which is enjoyed by a nice mix of people. Silver Lake is a family place -- alcohol is not allowed, and pets need to be on a leash -- and people have a good time together in this clean, convenient park. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are truly bountiful here at Silver Lake. Silver Lake is right by the Vinzant. This lake is so wonderful. Andrew Lake is a great lake in the neighborhood of Silver Lake; a pleasant close by hotel is Sleep Inn Tallahassee. High temperatures at Silver Lake all through the summertime       months are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Silver Lake plunge into the 30's. A pretty lake like Moore Lake close to Silver Lake is a magnificent location to go to, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Panhandle Capital Inn & Suites is a perfect choice. The high level of precipitation makes Silver Lake a rather                  wet location; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here, and October on the other hand is the driest.
