Sure, Halfmoon Lake is close by; if you need a site to stay Sleep Inn & Suites Waldo is a good choice. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Lake Serena while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's; nighttime       lows at Lake Serena throughout the winter usually sink into the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park; if you like swamps you're in luck, Ashley Prairie is right nearby. A good site to camp here at Lake Serena is Lake Swan Camp Office, and Keystone Golf & Country Club is a nice golf course close by. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Serena a wet spot; during the month of August you                  get the most rain around here, and October on the other hand is the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Lake Serena.
