All through the summertime, highs mostly are in the 90's at Scurrycut Pond. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Scurrycut Pond are in the 30's. If you need a place to stay Monticello Days Inn is a pleasant choice, and camping is available at A Campers world. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling       is pleasant on Aucilla River, and why not camp at Monticello Koa Kampground if you're here at Scurrycut Pond. If only every spot had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great planet it would be. The high level of precipitation makes Scurrycut Pond a reasonably wet place; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is October. Take a little visit to Bailey Mill Creek while you're here at Scurrycut Pond, and a nice place like Welaunee                  Sink here at Scurrycut Pond is too great to miss.
