A journey to Big Cypress National Preserve is recommended; a splendid close by hotel is Holidays Golden Glades Boutique Htl. High temperatures at Scott Lake during the summer months are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 70's; winter nights come with lows in the 50's to Scott Lake. Oleta River State Park is a nice local campground, and if you're a golfer       then a pleasant close by course is Presidential Golf Course. Just can't get enough of Scott Lake. Scott Lake is not far at all from Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Miami Beach. Scott Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Embassy RV Park is a wonderful site to camp nearby, and Lake Helen is a glorious lake close by. Scott Lake is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a lot of precipitation; during June this area sees the most rain, and the driest                  month is December. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Scott Lake, for example Lake Steven, and after a long day outdoors Hilton Garden Inn Ft.
