There's whitewater on Suwannee River for all you adrenaline people; Sand Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Suwannee River State       Park is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Scottish Inns Live Oak is a perfect choice; a great place to camp here at Sand Pond is Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground. Sand Pond is a quite wet place usually with a large amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. You can run the rapids of Falling Creek next to Sand Pond; Econo                  Lodge Live Oak is a delightful place to get some rest.
