A glorious spot to camp here at Sand Pond is Northwest Florida Campground, and for you golfers we recommend close by Great Oaks Golf Course. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Sand Pond. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Chipley, Fl is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. Sand Pond regularly gets much rain; July is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Swamps       don’t sound that magnificent but Rawles Bay near Sand Pond is reasonably magnificent, and why not take a little visit to Little Dry Creek since you're here. At Sand Pond all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 70's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 60's while Sand Pond overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Sand Pond                  is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Sunny Oaks Recreational Vehicle Park is a delightful local campground. Lakes are fine; Tharp Mill Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Sand Pond.
