Sand Pond is not the only spot close by, Black Lake is a close by lake. High temperatures at Sand Pond through the summer are in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 70's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Sand Pond plunge into the 30's.
