The high level of rain makes Sand Hill Pond a pretty wet site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Sand Hill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Swan Camp Office is a perfect site for that; if you're dropping by from Palatka, you won't be the only one. High temperatures at Sand Hill Pond during the warm months are in the       90's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Sand Hill Pond are in the 40's.
