... fishing, sightseeing, or just plain congeniality is in your plans, then visit us for a while at Sunset King.  We are located in the Florida Panhandle, approximately 40 miles north of Destin and Ft Walton Beach on the Emerald Coast of the Gulf of Mexico.  Sunset King Lake Rv Resort is easy and convenient to get to, and is in a rural setting, away from all the highway noises that you sometimes have to put up with at other campgrounds.

Our resort is on King Lake, which is approximately 580 acres and is well stocked with black bass, crappie, shellcracker, and bream. Large bass catches are a regular happening and the lake has yielded a 17 1/4 pounder. Bream weighing in at 2 pounds and greater, along with 3 pound crappie have been caught on many occasions.

We have large campsites that can accommodate any size RV, from personal campers to the ''Big ''Rigs'', with water, sewer, 30 & 50 Amp electric service, and cable TV. WIFI is also available ($).
You can relax in our quiet atmosphere or spend time with friendly neighbors and have the companionship of fellow RVers. Com...

Anderson Pond
19 miles away

The dirt road is passable for a small RV, but leveling is difficult. Contact Jackson Goard at Eglin for permit. Pass is $6 a year, and to camp is $5 for 5 days. Blue Gills and Bass are in the pond, as well as (I'd bet) an aligator or two....
