Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Round Pond; the night is slightly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 70's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 60's with temperatures at Round Pond dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Bluff Creek is a great local stream; Rock Bluff is something you shouldn't miss if you're here. Round Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Stoutamire Landing       Campground is a magnificent local campground, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites QUINCY I-10 is a perfect location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are brilliant spots to look at along the Vinzant, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not take a look at Long Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Round Pond a wet place; most of the rain falls all through July while October is the                  month with the least amount of precipitation. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Round Pond. Going for a hike on the Apalachicola Trail is always a great adventure.
