There are plenty of folks from Jacksonville here at Round Pond. There's so much to do here at Round Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Little Talbot Island State Park is a magnificent place       for that. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Round Pond, for example Tiger Pond; after a long day outdoors Best Western Mayport Inn & Suites is a great location to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Round Pond during the summer months are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's; through the dark hours in the winter at Round Pond temperatures drop to the                  40's. Round Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is November. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Deep Creek is right nearby, and Mayport Basin is a delightful place any time of year. A great close by hotel is Comfort Inn Mayport, and golf can be played at Mill Cove Golf Club. A spree to close by Mile Point is very relaxing, and you can stay the night at Regency Trailer Park. Lakes?
